Our young team for city council and district council in Herrenhausen-Stöcken. Together we're fighting for a city district that stays worth living in for everyone – affordable, easy to get around, and full of life.

What we've already achieved

We're not starting from zero. The SPD has gotten a lot moving over the past five years. We want to continue this work and bring in younger perspectives:

Decision to rebuild the Stöckener Bad (swimming pool)
Hanover's first bicycle repair station, right here in our district
Safer school routes on Gretelriede, Kirchweg, and Stöckener Bach
A calisthenics facility in the Gemeindeholz
Flood relief for the Graft sports clubs.

What we still want to achieve

There's still a lot to do in our district. As your voice for Herrenhausen-Stöcken, we want to work together on the issues that matter to us!

Good housing construction that's affordable for everyone
Prompt planning and, of course, construction of the Stöckener Bad
Reliable swimming pool opening hours
More docking stations in the district for rental bikes from ÜSTRA's partner program
More frequent runs of the mobile library bus
Appealing all-day programs together with our local clubs and associations
Free school lunches for primary school students
Regular neighborhood festivals
Support for workers – especially at Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles and its suppliers
A sports park in Stöcken – with educational and recreational offerings
